The Sydney Airport receives nearly forty million passengers yearly. And these passengers have a host of transportation options from which to choose from.
The options range from public transportation, to private car rental, taxi services, and much more.
Taxi Airport transport Sydney
At the Sydney Airport, passengers can head over to the taxi ranks that are located at the ground transportation zone outside of every terminal. There, people can encounter a management team that can assist in the process of catching a cab.
Rideshare taxi application services, such as Uber and Ola, are also allowed to operate on the grounds of the Sydney Airport. Such taxi services must encounter passengers at the priority pick-up zone outside the terminals.
Bus Kingsford Smith transport option
The Route 420 bus is the most common bus taken to and from the Sydney Airport. It travels to multiple destinations in the city and even to the suburbs, making it ideal to connect people with these locations.
To pick up the bus, head over to the ground transportation that is connected to the arrivals’ level of each terminal.
Other forms of buses operating on the grounds of the Sydney Airport include the hotel shuttles that transfer hotel guests between the airport and the hotel. This service is usually free and is offered by most hotels.
Car rental Sydney Airport Transport
Most of the car rental agencies at the airport are located at the arrivals’ hall of the first terminal. Some are also located at the arrivals’ hall of the second and the third terminals.
Upon choosing the agency and vehicle that you prefer, you can then hop on a free shuttle that will transport you to the P7 parking zone where your vehicle will be waiting for you.
Train Sydney Airport Transport
Visitors can also choose to board the train between terminals at the airport, and also to locations outside the airport. If you are heading to the airport on board the train, make sure to take the T8 Airport line.
